As it's been a couple of months since my last try, I thought I'd try the latest
7.6/trunk again (using SQLite).
It reports that it has finished scanning music library, even though the scan
details info sections are continually being updated (and total time for scan
changes too). i.e. all
e.g.:
Discovering files (0 of 0) Complete 00:00:00
Remove deleted files (1 of 1) Complete 00:00:06
Pre-caching Artwork (3197 of 3197) Complete 00:00:03
The server has finished scanning your music collection.
whereby "Discovering files (0 of 0)" then continually updates for several
minutes.
It seems to perform some scan phases before/whilst it has discovered all files?
It seems to run some phases several times too. eg. log indicates:

Are these known issues still?
I think potentially if I scan for new/changed files twice, it might get the
correct result (i.e. some of the scan phases it executed whilst it was also
discovering files, sound incorrect, eg. caching artwork).
It still seems to take longer than a 7.5 scan for new/changed files, depending
how many new/changed files it finds (i.e. a second scan when there are no
changes seems very quick now).
7.5.2: 11 mins (several albums added), then 10 mins (no new music)
7.6: 15 mins (2 months of new music added), then 2:15 mins (no new music)
