Yes, the artist shows up correctly in iTunes. All of the iTunes files, including the xml, are actually on the NAS, so when I use my PC to use iTunes it's updating the NAS file - I deliberately set it up that way to make sure Squeeze always had access. And no, no old copies, I'm very particular about keeping things clean & up-to-date. I've not had any time to try & change any other artist name into capital-letters only - maybe that's the problem as I can't think of anything else at the moment. However, as I've mentioned, I added the path of the music folder & it works ok now, but the scan's taking 4hrs 15mins to check 20,647 files - quite a long time !
