You can add to playlist (eg. "on the go"), and then play that playlist, but that isn't the default action when playing an item.
The difference is that in other apps, it's often more obvious that you are instructing it to play something new. The difference with the new Squeezebox player interface, is that the navigation buttons are mixed up with actions, so it is not obvious when clicking something will perform a play action, replacing the playlist. >For me, 7.3's party mode was excellent. The main thing I didn't like was the way party mode could be automatically turned on.
