http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10751 This would be helpful if Logitech every designs another web skin. If it required different thumbnail size(s) you can't just keep adding to the growing list of sizes to be precached. It would have to be some type of user option. By default you'd only precache images for the Default skin, but you could give users the ability to boost performance by letting them generate thumbnails for their desired skin. Conversely, users could be able to boost the performance of scanning by being able to disable precaching for any or all devices and skins. The options in the performance settings might look like: Pre-cache artwork for: [x] Touch [x] Radio [_] Controller [x] Default web skin [_] Some other offical web skin -- JJZolx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79251 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
