Can't install the latest nightly in Ubuntu 10.10, the Software Center fails with the following message:
"Requires installation of untrusted packages The actions would require the installation of packages from unauthenticated sources. \/ Details: squeezeboxserver [CLOSE] " And won't proceed to install this package - it's now considered toxic in 10.10 when it wasn't in 10.04, presumably Ubuntu have tightened up the requirements for third-party packages? I'm guessing that signing the package would resolve this issue - isn't it time this was now done as a matter of course? I'm going to have to end my testing of nightlies until this matter is resolved. -- Milhouse ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Milhouse's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=928 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39374 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
