I could be wrong, (trying to read the tea leaves as an outsider is always dangerous), but I would say that Logitech is treating audio-only streamers as a Harvest market at this point. In other words, try to get as much financial reward from the previous investments already made, while doing the least possible to keep the existing products alive.
Given that as an assumption, I would not expect support for new platforms to be forthcoming, unless failure to do so was seen as a threat to the present revenue stream. Apparently, the numbers of WHS downloads don't cross that threshold, so it won't be done. I would like to think that Fab4's flying off the shelves at full price would eventually make someone see the business in a more positive light, but who knows? -- dsdreamer ---------------------- "Dreamer, easy in the chair that really fits you..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dsdreamer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12588 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78042 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
