I personally use PHPmyAdmin for managing mySQL. When adding a user it allows to choose from which machine this user can connetct to the DB. I also feel I've got to clarify one thing: my DB history with 7.6 is as follows: SQLite - stability issues Squeeze mySQL - issues resolved own mySQL instance - issues still resolved, less server processes -- bakker_be http://www.last.fm/user/Bakker_be Main System: Touch; Marantz SR-5004; ' TMA Premium 905' (http://tmaaudio.com/premium905.html); BK Monolith+ FF; XTreamer; Pioneer PDP-LX5090H ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bakker_be's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30369 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83448 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
