I guess that when Logitech moved from SQLite to MySQL many years ago, there weren't any problems, and then a new security product came along that doesn't play nice with MySQL. But the same thing could happen for any product on any OS. It's a feature of security software that they can cause problems. SQLite could have an issue on one particular OS with one particular anti-virus package in the future, just in the same way as MySQL has with Windows and MSE. Supporting the two DB engines can't be all that different to supporting yet another flavour of operating system. eg. SBS has various OS-specific bits. _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
