The checkbox is/was already ticked, but I have since clicked save again
for both players.
I never knew the setting existed and have never adjusted it, but
apparently by default it is on.

I reverted to 7.5.x a month ago when I first noticed this issue and
just returned to 7.6 again to try again, but the fault is exactly the
same.

I assure you on my machine Random Mix is not functioning correctly and
hasn't for any 7.6 build I have tried and I have tried many.

To test the issue, I was viewing the current playlist on the Duet
remote by going to Now Playing and pressing OK to skip over to current
playlist.
I can see about 10 songs listed, if I press the skip forwards button
repeatly I can see it progress through that listed as normal but at the
last song it simply loops back to the first song again. I normally do
not viewing the current playlist however on the Duet or V3 and was
simply doing it for easier testing. The always appears regardless of
what I'm viewing on the players.

I *once* out of hundreds of repeated tests of the issue saw it add more
files but when it got through those files it simply looped back to the
start again. I have no idea why once it worked, I had jumped ahead on
the playlist with wheel scrolling and pressing OK on a file but similar
tests since have never repeated the success.

My setup:
Windows 7 64bit
4gb RAM
