The SqueezePlay software phones home after a crash :)

I was putting my butterfingers somewhere and stopped the SqeezePlay
process on my Touch and it nicely rebooted and whisked away an error
msg .

So the wathdog process in Touch is set to monitor if SqueezePlay is
alive otherwise it reboots the Touch and the Radio to I'we got that one
to stall too ;)

But for the server ? you must filter very hard before sending it many
error in the log are inconsequential or mostly end user errors or
stream errors , You have to weed out genuine application crashes .

For example if your permissions on a file is wrong and the scanner
trows a fit ,imho that would not be reported to Logitech.

Otherwise a good idea if done in a sensible manner, so that the team
does not get swamped in logs :)

A better help for end users would be to have error reported in human
readable form, these files can not be scanned because....

OT the scanner why must it always crash on problem files ? why not put
the offending file in the log and move on to the next one .
For dev purposes i can Imagine that it is good if the scan halts where
it is for the devs to investigate whats the matter, but for end
users...
