This appears to be a growing problem with the scanner, the unexplained
'unable to read tags from file' errors. I and some other users have
reported seeing these intermittently when running a clear/rescan, where
sometimes a scan will skip several hundred files with this same error,
and at other times it will complete with no errors at all. I haven't
experienced any crashes, but these errors are a bit worrisome, not to
mention being a PITA.
