I'm running the 7.6 nightlies on Debian, and the automatic scanning is good enough to use. However, my ripping process still involves manually getting artwork and putting it in the folder. Usually I don't do this until after the server has picked up the album. Once it does that, though, putting the artwork in the folder does not get the artwork picked up, even if you click on the album or do browse the music folder to the directory for the album. The only way I've found to pick up the artwork is to do a wipe and rescan.
I remember some ancient earlier builds were doing automatic artwork detection, but I guess that is long gone. I haven't tried the automatic artwork loading feature, and perhaps that would help, but I have a few albums for which I'm guessing that wouldn't work and I'd be in the same boat. Is there any way to just scan for updated artwork? -- mrfantasy --Mike http://last.fm/user/mrfantasy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrfantasy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1127 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87067 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
