Other than basic playback by artist, album or genre Squeezeboxserver is severely lacking in its audio interface capabilities, you cannot even select multiple genres as a subset of your library for playlisting/ exploring. But hey, forget that the core capailities have been overlooked, it does internet radio and it'll be able to play video... woot! Personally, I've given up hope Squeezeboxserver or whatever it's called next will ever become a decent interface to one's music library, that it will become bloatware though, is a given. For those bent on wanting more out of their music UI it really is time to think of building capability off the back of something else. ScrawnyServer may be a good starting point.
