Now that does sound similar to my bug.  I get random crashes; each time I try a 
scan a different file is logged as the file being processed.  A following 
rescan will often read the file where it previously crashed, and then crash on 
a different file.

Maybe it is the same issue, but yours gets reported, and mine just crashes 
before it can report the problem for some other reason (AV anti-trojan 
detection software getting in the way of something maybe).
