I have perhaps got one or two albums where I have retained disc numbers, eg. where there are significant differences in the content, such as a studio album disc, and a live album disc (eg. Pink Floyd - Ummagumma - but even in this case, I'd usually create two separate album names, so "Ummagumma - Studio" and "Ummagumma - Live"). >Artists will possibly be the fact that the scanner now discriminates >leading/trailing spaces and upper/lower case in strings I doubt it in my library - undoubtedly there will be some, which I will now be able to identify and fix, but not ~400 different artists.
