Has anyone succeeded in getting LMS so scan pictures ?

It simply doesn't work in my setup, it seems to find music and videos,
but no pictures. I've a lot of jpg and JPG files but none of them is
detected.

All "Disabled * File Extensions" settings are empty
Both "Music", "Video" and "Pictures" checkboxes in the "File Types"
setting section is checked.

I've attached the scanner.log file for a full rescan with only my
photos folder configured.

It's not related to soft links or permissions, because I can use find
and ls to find the files when logged in as the same user as LMS runs
under.

The photos are on a folder mounted via NFS from a NAS, but since it
works for videos and music it doesn't feel like that should be the
problem.

Does the picture scanning happen last so it just aborts the scanning
before it reaches that part ?

There is no error in the scanning status dialog and nothing strange in
the scanner log as far as I can see besides the errors on my MOV files
which doesn't seem to be supported.

Any clues ?
