I use a one week old beta without problem. If it works it works. The problem with 7.6 is mostly that the scanner don't work for all people, after a botched scan you are going to have corrupt dB and many symptoms that are consequnces of that.
But if you don't have scanning problems it works fine, with some normal bugs present , but that does not render the system useless.
