Every build since about ~30011 can not be stopped on my machine. Running ClarkConnect os (intalls the rpm build) .
The "service squeezeboxserver stop" command is broken ? Since 2 years the "service squeezeboxserver restart" command is also broken. I have find the pid and kill it ? Weird thing it runs as "perl" by user squeeze~ ? This is usually what happens when you restart sbs from the web-UI it restarts as "perl" not squeezeboxserver . After a normal hard reboot it is squeezeboxserver again . I feel that all this is somewhat tied to together, and also with that even older bug when you cant log off from the ssh terminal if you started sbs (you force quit it) . Luckily the "service squeezeboxserver start" actually works . Someone may have a peek at how sbs starts etc on rhel and centOS like OS ?
