Ok, here are also the results from the 50 000 track test library:
- 7.5.6 r32834 (with MySQL 5.0.21): 22:36
- 7.6.1 r33045 (with MySQL 5.0.21): 57:48
- 7.6.1 r33045 (with SQLite): 26:14
So compared to my small library where 7.6.1 with SQLite and WAL was
fastest it's now a little bit slower than 7.5.6 in the larger 50 000
tracks library.
So not completely unexpected the decreased performance also happens on
Linux but it's related to the library size, in small libraries 7.6.1 is
still faster than 7.5.6, even with WAL, but it seems to slow down
quicker with WAL activated when the library size increases.
Another thing that can be noticed is that MySQL "High" configuration
doesn't seem to work as good in 7.6.1 as it did in 7.5.6.
