I think that only works if it is the currently playing track. It is not possible to do on any other track in the current playlist. Actually, I've found that I sometimes can't long-touch any item in the playlist - it takes it as a single-touch and starts playing the track :-( Sometimes a long-touch works, sometimes it doesn't... Bug? Or maybe I've worn my screen out, or my finger is too hot/cold? Either way, single-touch-to-play is a right pain.
