Ah it only works in one specific menu the one you get by clicking on the looking glass icon at the top on home or by doing a sucessfull search at any other way you get to search, this confused me, you get the "proper" search page by either clicking on the link or by doing a valid search first.
I'll try to catch it later ? the menu sometimes does not look right ? now it works, I'll try get a screenshot next reboot, when it starts to work it works as described 3 letters and it searchs . I'll try to get a screenshot where that leftmost search box does not appear ? Just to be sure I'm not seing things. I should be faster with the printscreen button whenever something strange appears . The default UI is quite clean and good looking (if you remove the horrible logitech green color please..)
