@AndyG I have several DLNA clients on my iPhone (Plugplaye, iMedia etc etc) and none of them can browse LMS7.7. The clients see LMS as a Media Server but cannot browse it.
The same issue exists when trying to browse using WMP or MediaMonkey on my Vista PC. Following Michael Hergers advice on "Developer Forums > Beta >LMS 7.7 r33150 for windows broken" I installed and ran UPnP Inspector. It found all my media servers (Twonky, MediaMonkey, Laptop and LMS). Using UPnP Inspector, when I right-click any of my Media Servers and select "browse media server" a root-folder loads which lets me browse the server right down to track level. The ONLY server that doesn't do this is Logitech Media Server, which loads the root folder but when you try to access it it simply returns back to root-folder instead of browsing it. It seems almost as though it is somehow locked?? This must be what is happening when our DLNA clents are trying to access LMS Michael mentioned the UPnP Plugin and I wondered if you would have any idea what might be causing this problem or is there a way to configure it to allow browsing etc Looking forward to your reply cheers mccstumble -- stumble Music Management: Mediamonkey Ver 4.0.01423 Gold Lifetime Music Server: Logitech Media Server 7.7 r 33176 AddOns: MonkeySqueeze Ver 1.0.110721 http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59515 Other Controllers: O2 Joggler (on native OS) running Squeezeplay, Ipeng, Mellorware MonkeyTunes and Plugplayer all on iPhone Players: Squeezebox Duet and 2 x SB Receivers, iPod Touch on JBL OnStage, O2 Joggler with Squeezeplay On Demand Music: LastFM, Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ stumble's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31501 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83939 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
