Not at all during the initial file/directory detection phase.
For music it works after that and correctly shows the progress.
For pictures and video it doesn't report any progress at all until the
end as far as I can see, all I see is an "Abort scan" link. I've tried
switching tabs and it doesn't help so I suspect it's the status in the
database that isn't updated.
I'm talking about full rescans, I think it works in incremental rescans
but it's hard to tell as I've only tried changing a few files and then
it scans fairly quickly.
