Yes, so if you want to support it you should also consider to make it
possible to batch transcode library. However, real-time transcoding
works if you have a server hardware that's able to handle it, the 'Air
Video Server' (http://www.inmethod.com/) used by the Air Video app for
iOS did exactly this since the video formatting support on the
iPad/iPhone was pretty limited.
