While I was reading the bug report I saw this note in the code listed:
# Don't include artists that only appear on compilations
if ( $sql =~ /JOIN tracks/ ) {
Does this mean we should not expect an artist who only appears on a
complilation albums show in the results of a search? Or does it mean he
should not show in >Home >Artist?
I have in my library an artist (Wu Tong) who appears only as an artist
on one song in the compilation album "Songs Of Joy & Peace". He does
not show up in >Home >Artist, but if I search for this artist he does
show up.
This is the behavior I would expect.
I am running 7.6.2
