Make sure that you have lame.exe in the C:\Program Files\Squeezebox\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread folder to transcode FLAC to MP3 if you're running LMS on Win7. Or present in whichever folder is appropriate for your OS platform. Transcoding was working for me on LMS 7.7 using Lame version 3.98.4 when I tested it last week. (Using builds prior to r33406)
Btw, in regards to FLAC streamed to a Revue... you probably have to shoot me if you tell me... given that the next Revue platform "appears" to be based on Honeycomb 3.1 which plays FLAC audio natively... will the next release of Revue software inherit this capability? I'm assuming that the Revue has enough horsepower and buffer space to handle this. -- tamanaco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90333 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
