Hmm do you run SBS as a service requiring you to use UNC paths in the
SBS settings making it se 13 more characters ?

I know it's weird I had win pgms write file names to long for the files
to be moved to other drives.

It is a win limitation ntfs itself accept longer names and so does
linux and consequently many NAS boxes .

It can be strange when you write the file from a shorter path , and
tries to read it from a longer . Or rip with an OS that does not have
this limit MacOS or Linux but use windows as server and many other ways
to get it this way.

When ripping configure the ripper to not place to much info in the file
name . You have tags for the meta information .

I have no idea why it worked before ?

I don't know that much about windows programs, I know some can go
beyond that limit I don't know if it's good practice

To be on the safe side 244 characters are suggested, I confess I don't
understand half of it
