I know there were some issues in the past with 7.6, but now I'm trying
to load 7.7 on a clean Redhat install(2.6.32) and am getting:

Shouldn't this be working out of the box?
I also tried on an older box I've had 7.6.2 running on(perl 5.12) and
get the same message.
