1. Are you sure that the 7.6.2 uninstall was hanging? I have used uninstall a couple of times over the years, and the first time I also thought that it was hanging... but no it just takes an unbelievebal 15 min to do its job on my server 2+3 could be the same; it is not always seen when the scanner dies. As a user it looks as if the scan takes forever.
