ALAC files now play with 7.7.2 r33882 - including 24/48 as well as 16/44. I am using the 'High' memory option, as I have 1GB in my Duo. I have also set Server & Scanner Priority to -20 and removed all unused Plug-ins. Seems to be work ok with 13,882 Tracks from 973 Albums. So no need to replace the Duo just yet - will wait until I have nearly filled the 1TB discs. It's also great that the LMS Settings can be retained when performing an upgrade, and the 'Clean dB' installation step is no-longer required.] Thank you. Simon.
