The iPlayerExtras plugins does not play any stream - it hooks into BBCiPlayer plugin to play a stream but the format can be MP3, AAC, WMA, Flash/AAC etc. If you are playing MP3, WMA with a hardware player then the problem is probably your network as direct streaming is used. If you are playing AAC on an ip3k players then it could be a server overload problem If you are playing Flash / AAC or Flash/ MP3 - thjen again it is cpould be a server overload.
