You were right. I shutdown the LMS service. It was shutdown for aprox a half hour. Meanwhile I tried the Update menu in Touch, did not offer the update. Also tried after I started to play something through mysqueezebox.com, still same. When I annoyed it, I started back the LMS, and when I first connected to the LMS, then it immediately offered to update the firmware to latest beta 7.8.0 r16739. So my conclusion is that , to offer the update, actually not the Touch, but the LMS should be restarted. :) Maybe it was because I also turned on the automatical upgrade in settings before.
