To someone from Logitech, is there any point that those of use that have tried upgrading one of our Squeezebox Radio devices provide some feedback on the UE Smart Radio ?
I guess I can start mention a few things I realized: - Is there no playlist support for local music ? (Couldn't find any way to view current playlist or even save it) - No way to view the current playlist in the iPhone app - Alpha bar scrolling is missing in iPhone app - No way to set an artist or album as favorite in the iPhone app, seems to be possible to set a track as favorite but I suspect most users aren't going to want a gigantic flat favorite list. - There should be an indication on the now playing screen if the currently playing track is a favorite or not. - The Spotify icon on the Now Playing screen should link to the current artist on spotify not just to the spotify service, just linking to the service is pointless. Same problem also exists for Deezer so I suspect it's a generic issue. - There is no way to unstar a track which have been starred on Spotify - There is a "Min musik" entry (Swedish for "My Music") in the top menu when browsing UE Music Library, entering it just shows a blank page - The search dialog in the iPhone app doesn't allow me to hit "Return" on the keyborad, I have to hit the "OK" button in the actual dialog, this is not how iPhone apps usually works. - In the Now Playing screen, there is no feedback when I hit the pause button, I would have expected it to switch to a play button. The good parts: - I really love the ability to switch between local music and services without the need to switch server - The setup process was very easy, I always hated to be forced to enter a e-mail and long password using the on device controls on the Radio, it's a lot better on the UE Radio Where I just select to let it generate a pin and then register it using my iOS/Android remote or computer. I guess I'll wait and see if anybody seems to care about us posting things like this before I spend more time giving feedback.
