The only thing needed to fix this would be to save the playlists of all players in a sync group whenever the playlist of any one of them is saved. After all, they're supposed to be in sync - that's the whole idea of a sync group. This has to be a simple fix, aided by the fact that the text written to all of the .m3u files will be identical each time.
Here's what I see happening: I have two player synced (Radio and Transporter). I typically control the sync group in the web interface by controlling the Transporter. If I clear the playlist of the Transporter, an empty .m3u file is saved. However, the Radio .m3u remains unchanged. It appears that LMS only saves the playlist file for the player being controlled. That's why the playlist of the other players in the group can be days, weeks, or months old. If you seldom control the group through them, then the data in the .m3u files are never overwritten. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=95219 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
