"there were other issues causing the hiccup." Thank you. I went back and forth. These 2 issues do not exist in 7.7.3. At this time I'm back with 7.7.3. It's very stable. 7.8 , for me, rebuffers very frequently and sync is slightly off. 7.7.3 is very stable. I think I'll just stick with 7.7.3 but if you need more info for the beta I'd like to help.
