What about 64 bit binaries http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?101232-Unable-to-play-mp4-files-after-upgrading-media-server-and-reinstalling-LMS
And 32 bit perl >5.18 for everything ? I know that mherger fixed that for Ubuntu . somthat the awkward possibility of 64 bit only perl and 32 bit only bins would not coexist . Can the patches for DSD file playback (is there a supporting app or is sox doing this ?) be there on all platforms ? It's very niche and mostly useless IMHO but the capacity do exist and being able to play even more file types is a thing this kind of app should do . There are good arguments for supporting less formats :) but once you got down the route of supporting many formats you better try supporting as many as possible . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
