What I meant was currently "Browse Artists" isn't necessarily just album
artists, but can include band, conductor and/or composer roles. It's not as
simple as just the album artists?
The current "Browse Artists" can be a combination of these roles, chosen by the
user in settings.
Instead, if there was one browse menu per role, and another for all roles, then
it would be simplified.
eg. "Browse Album Artists", "Browse Composers", ... "Browse All Artists".
Or structured a bit neater:
Browse Artists >
Album Artists >
Composers >
Conductors >
Band/Orchestra >
All >
The next issue would be when browsing an artist link, eg. when drilling into
details of an album, where would it take you? Show a list of all that artists
work, so probably Browse Artists > All > <artist that you selected>.
Currently, it shows only the works of the type of role that you clicked on
(just albums by the artist, or just albums where the artist is the composer,
etc).
