Wow... that would have been genius - and easy to fix in 7.9.
Unfortunately I doubt this does do anything at all. FWICT this only sets
a flag in the scanner code which _never_ is accessed afterwards. Did you
actually test the --cleanup parameter?
I knew that this line remove redundant entries and the "clear and rescan
over the webgui" doesnt.
You knew out of experience?
and yes its NOT a 7.9 only Bug.
But probably worth a posting in the "what should be in 7.9" thread.
