That's good to hear! Any particular aspects of the web UI you think are
quicker now?
The time taken between loading the frames and then populating them with
menu options.
Cool! The changes I applied are partly reducing the complexity of the
HTML DOM and the number of files to be loaded per page (good-bye GIFs
for rounded corners - welcome CSS!). Then I added some caching to eg.
the browse pages, as they are mostly static between scans anyway. And
last but not least there's some optimization to make the page look
snappier, even if it isn't ;-).
Although I have the same database error as others, and am currently
showing "1 album with 2 songs by 0 artists".
Not sure if that affects the initial load ?
Well, this at least would greatly speed up the browse pages...
What do you refer to by "the same database error as others"? I've been
dealing with various different issues...
