OK, just tried 7.9.0 1403764886 but no difference -- server still won't start, and running SqueezeServer.exe from the command line reports:
Could you please shut down anything SB related (incl. the tray icon), then search temporary folders for any PDK* sub-folders. Remove them and try again?
