I have to admit, the role model is driving me mad, too!!
First of all: I'm not sure What is meant by "browsing"?
To me it is "choosing all artists/Album artists from the main menu and
following the links".
But I'm Not sure how "choosing album artists" May help?
E.g. a few days ago I was looking for Songs from the 60s/70s Band
"Love". I found them under "album artists", clicked on the link, saw
their Albums and was quite surprised: Not enough, there weren't just the
Album where Love really is "album artist" but also hundreds of
compilations they had a Song on ("track artist") - no, there were also
some comp's I could hardly imagine, "Love" are on it (Euro Disco stuff).
The answer was striking: on this comps there was one Song Composed by
some Mr . Love -:maybe Peter Love or Robert Love... You know What
rubbish is in tags in mp3 You buy from Amazon or iTunes. I re-Tag every
Song but only artist fields. Composer is a nice to have Info but Not a
must-have thing. And I couldn't find out Mr. Love's First Name even if I
tried. So the only sollution imho is:
Don't see composers as artists but... in 7.9 I can't see where to
change. It would be great to see them Displayed (nice to know) but Not
in an artist's list...
