Will gapless playback still be possible without information about the music files being present in the database? What about dealing with single-file album rips with CUE sheets?
There certainly are limitations, some of which I don't know yet :-). I haven't tested any of what you ask about... Will try to run some more tests.
One known limitation is that you can only play a folder's direct content, but not the tracks stored in sub-folders. That much I know already.
