Generally (I've noticed this in a lot of places) an artist in German is either an "Interpret" or - in the case of all artist roles being used in the artist list it would probably best be called "Künstler" (because a composer is not an "Interpret"). In no case would "Artist" be the correct translation, yet in a lot of cases the server uses that, especially in the settings pages.
