I was going to ask if this was a good place to post I have been having problems with scanning for a long time.
Specifically the initial scan always seems to linger at with high CPU usage until I restart LMS. I haven't mentioned it because I always assumed it was some bad tags or something in my library, but if the work being done affects the scanner than maybe I can offer some more information. Another issue is the memory usage of LMS after incremental scans, the memory usage of the overal application seems to increase by about 30%, which reverts again when the application is restarted. Don't mean to derail and this work is greatly appreciated.
