There's a problem with artist roles in the player status. I often get the composer instead of the track artist or the album artist in the main "artist" field.
Without digging the code I suspect there's a problem with the "main_contributor" in the tracks table. I guess that was introduced at some point to prevent excessive lookups in the contributors table, but isn't always correctly set. I'll look into this.
