While I could create the playlists with no problem, they would not appear under the 'Playlists' tab which just showed 'Empty'. After
Did you have any existing playlists which you would have expected to show up there besides the newly created one?
thinking about it I decided to switch to the standard library view and then the playlists would show up. I then switched back to the 'hide lossy duplicates' library view and they are gone again. And, as far as I can tell, the albums selected are only in a flac format so there should not be a duplicate version.
What if you run a rescan (new & changed or playlists only)? Would the lists show up?
