You haven't said if you have checked that the access rights and
ownership for the m3us are the same as for your mp3s (ls -la *.m3u).

Also, check some playlists that use only local tracks (if mixed with
non-local that are inaccessible for some other reason you might get some
problems).

If the playlists aren't displaying at all, I'm still betting it's a
permissions problem, especially if the scanner log doesn't show
problems.

44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp &
ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers.  Minimserver (server) & upplay
(control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers.  Squeezelite to
Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones.  Wireless Xubuntu 15.04
laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.   Have a Touch
with EDO, plus spare, but unused.
