Can you check what perl version it's running (Settings/Information in the web UI)? Did you run an older version of LMS successfully?

There's been a long-standing issue that sometimes LMS on ReadyNAS would quit working on certain files. And it's a problem with the Perl 5.8 build only.

I think one of the workarounds was to make sure that no other media type than music was enabled in the music folder settings. Can you make sure this is the case?
