did the sorting of Artist change?
No.
After my last update to 7.9.0 - 1445779463 the artist sorting changed from fore name to last name. For Example, Anna Maria Jopek is listed under J and not as befor under A. Is this changeable?
No, unless you modify the metadata in your files. Check for an ARTISTSORT or similar value.
