I doubt it. I looked at this for iPeng and the problem is that the server can't sort albums by genre. There is an additional issue: there is no genre tag for albums, the genre tag is applied per track. So if an album contains tracks with several different genres - quite common if you use automatic tagging - where do you show it? It's similar with artists but there you have the concept of an albumartist but there is no albumgenre
